       CURENTE IN CRESTINISMUL CONTEMPORAN
     
            1.  FUNDAMENTALISMUL  :Crestinii fundamantalisti considera intreaga Scriptura ca fiind inspirata de Dumnezeu si care  trebuie aplicata adliteram.   2 Timotei 3:16 .
Este forma de  crestinism  practicat si de biserica primara.


 Marturisirea de credinta a fundamentalistilor din USA.
Maintains an immovable allegiance to the inerrant, infallible, and verbally Inspired Bible;

1. Believes whatever the Bible says is so;
2. Judges all things by the Bible, and is judged only by the Bible, aka - "Sola Scriptura";
3. Affirms the foundational truths of the historic Christian Faith:

   a. The doctrine of the Trinity
   b. The incarnation, virgin birth, substitutionary atonement, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ
   c. The new birth through regeneration of the Holy Spirit
   d. The resurrection of saints to life eternal
   e. The resurrection of the ungodly to final judgment and eternal death
   f. The fellowship of the saints, who are the body of Christ;

4. Practices fidelity to that faith, and endeavors to preach it to every creature;
5. Exposes and separates from all ecclesiastical denial of that Faith, compromise with error, and apostasy from the Truth; and
6. Earnestly contends for the Faith once delivered.
7. Therefore, Fundamentalism is a militant faith with a soulwinning zeal. While Fundamentalists may differ on certain interpretations of Scripture, we join in unity of heart and common purpose for the defense of the Faith and the preaching of the Gospel, without compromise or division.

 2. CONSERVATORISM . Este asemanator cu fundamentalismul ,dar este adepta pastrarii unor traditii specifice bisericii, fara sa le considere ca facand parte din dogma ,asa cum se intampla in bisericile istorice.


  3. LIBERALISMUL . Are diverse forme de manifestare ,in general liberalismul nu considera necesara  aplicarea Scripturii in intregime ,adliteram (in doctrina proprie) ci prefera sa selecteze unele invataturi,pasaje din biblie pe care le considera interesante la care eventual adauga o interpretare mai "libertina" a Scripturii .
Exista si  forme de   liberalism extremist care anuleaza  invataturi fundamentale din Scriptura ,ca doctrina referitoare la pocainta,nastere din nou etc.


4. MODERNISMUL.  Este  curent de gandire aparut prin sec. XIX  acesta respinge doctrina crestina conservatoare sau fundamentalista , proclamand un model de exprimare liber
,ignorand multe din invataturile  Noului Testament.


  Aceste curente de gandire si interpretare a crestinismului se regasesc in diversele culte crestine existente in prezent.
